Haley Toetz, Greendale High School, Greendale

This year’s Arne Engebretsen Memorial Scholarship recipient, Haley Toetz is completing her last year at Greendale High School in Greendale, with plans to attend Marquette University and major in Elementary Education and Mathematics.

Described by her teacher as, “...a mature individual with a cooperative spirit and a compassion for others,” Haley is currently a teacher’s aide in both a freshman/sophomore geometry and honors geometry class as well as a kindergarten class.  She also volunteers with small children at a local dance studio and has been a member of the Greendale Chapter of the National Honor Society during her junior and senior years.

She looks forward to elementary education and states, “With the right care and guidance, every child has the potential to do amazing things.”  Congratulations, Haley!
